The Story

Our Story

A home built with love, now shared with those who seek stillness.

The Beginning

Villa Serene was built by our parents as their retirement home. After years of work and raising a family, they dreamed of a place where they could finally slow down—a home surrounded by open lands, away from the noise of the city, where every morning could begin with birdsong and every evening could end under an open sky.

They chose this land in the village of Golgam, on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam, for its peace and its promise. Here, they built not just a house, but a home infused with care—the traditional Manduva Logili at its heart, spacious rooms for family to gather, and grounds where grandchildren could run free.

A Gentle Transition

After our father's passing, we found ourselves at a crossroads. This home, so lovingly built, so filled with memories—what should become of it? We couldn't bear to see it sit empty, and we couldn't bear to let it go.

And so we made a decision that felt right: to share it. Not as a hotel or a resort, but as what it is—a family home, open to those who resonate with its spirit.

Our Philosophy

“Come, cherish family and nature, and leave with a smile”

This is what we hope for every guest who stays at Villa Serene. Not just a place to sleep, but a place to reconnect—with loved ones, with nature, with yourself.

What We Offer

Villa Serene is simple. There are no spa treatments or room service, no curated experiences or activity schedules. What we offer is space—physical space to breathe, and mental space to be.

You'll find a home that's clean and comfortable, grounds that invite exploration, and the gentle presence of a sacred temple next door. You'll find open lands in every direction, skies that put on a different show at every hour, and the kind of silence that's increasingly hard to find.

Most of all, you'll find a place that asks nothing of you except to be present.

We'd love to hear from you
